Regarding your last easter egg at the end of the game where you hear notes from the Scarecrow's Song after letting the game sit idle for a bit, I actually found a different Easter Egg: It's that if you push the C-Buttons or A-Button as if you were idly playing the ocarina, or actually playing a song, you will hear the notes sung in Malon's voice. (eg: ooh-ooh-ooooooh, ooh-ohh-ooooooh, ooh-ooh-oooh-ooh-ooooooh.) This is for the N64 version of the older NTSC that has the Islamic chant in the Fire Temple.

For me, playing the 60 FPS wide screen hack on the 351P, using a lower quality stick with drift + the camera being controlled with the other the BIGGEST pain was probably to get 100 coins in the giant/dwarf world (the name escapes me atm) and the carpet level (worst part of that being wall jumping up to the blue coins in time with a broken stick; I think the wall jumping is fine but not when the stick drifts). With a non-exact stick + camera issues those levels SUCKED. #9 wasn't that great either but luckily a short level. I see now why those metal 64 sticks go for sick money. Edit: #4 also not easy but actually easier than the other ones mentioned to me. Managed to get 120 stars WITH drift and camera issues... I think that speaks to how good the developers managed to get the controls. Camera is a different story... Edit 2: oh and the one in the pyramid (called "puzzle" something) sucked with a broken camera/stick as well.

Video Games are cheaper than ever before. Not all publishers release day 0 shit with 100gb of day 1 patches. When we were kids there were as many shit games as there are now. Look at all the cashgrab shovelware for PlayStation, Gameboy or DS.

I def believe Majora’s Mask is the better game. Ocarina’s dungeons are peak for sure (yes, even the water temple), but the world and characters just feel so dead and dry. MM is perfectly deep on so many levels, ends up using the masks extremely well, and also ends up giving you way more interesting uses and occasions to use the ocarina than even OOT itself

I have to correct you real quick. The death of the skull kid happened in the adult timeline, majora’s math happened in the child timeline so it would still happen.
